  • Fine-detailed, original, still life, oil on canvas painting, depicting a kettle of mulled wine on a table alongside fruit and flowers.  This superb, very realistic, original work was created in 1993, is entitled 'Mulled Wine in September', has vibrant colours and is by the British artist Trisha Hardwick (1949-2022).

     
    Trisha Hardwick was born in the North East of England and after rekindling her love for painting in her thirties she became a professional artist in 1989.  Her still life paintings were influenced by the Spanish, Italian and Flemish masters whom she studied in order to produce work that was archivally sound. She exhibited widely including in New York and at The Royal Academy and her work is widely sought after, and features in private collections worldwide.
