- Superb original oil painting on canvas, depicting three huntsmen on horseback, surrounded by fox hounds, on a country road, this original work is beautifully presented in its original period frame, and is by the English artist Ronald Moseley (b.1931 ).Ronald Moseley was born in Marple, Cheshire, and studied at both the Stockport College of Art and the Manchester School of Art. He completed two years of National Service and then went on to work in advertising, which took him to South Africa, where he lived for a number of years. It was during this time that he began to paint seriously, which led to various commissions for the World Wildlife Foundation. Upon his return to England he transitioned to painting horses and English rural life.

- Framed and ready to hang, in its original moulded dark-wooden period frame, with wide, gilt-trimmed, linen coverered insert, and narrow white slip- Painting size 40cm x 30cm (approx. 15 3/4 inches x 11 3/4 inches)- Frame size 54.5cm x 44.5cm (approx. 21 1/2 inches x 17 1/2 inches)- The frame has some rubbing to the top moulding, please see image above, and some minor nibbles to the corners, otherwise both painting and frame are in excellent condition- Excellent investment- Original gift
