Original watercolour painting, depicting a view of Feock Creek in Cornwall, South-West England, beautifully presented in a mottled gilt frame. This atmospheric original work is by the award-winning English artist Ray Balkwill (b.1948 ).

Ray Balkwill was born in Exeter, and studied at Exeter College of Art. He initially worked as an Art Director in the advertising industry, until 1990, when the demand for his art resulting in him becoming a professional artist. A strong advocate of painting en plein air, he has now exhibited in numerous solo, group and open exhibitions, and his work can be found in private collections and galleries across the UK and abroad. A long time member of the St. Ives Society of Artists, he has authored a number of art books, has tutored painting holidays and is a regular contributor to art magazines.
