  • Rare limited edition print, on canvas on board, depicting an extensive beach scene, with two figures walking along the sandy beach, beside the ocean, under a dramatic, atmospheric sky. Beautifully presented in a bold gallery frame, this work is entitled 'Moments to Live For', and is by the Irish artist and adventurer Philip Gray (b.1959 ).
     
    Philip Gray was born in Cork, Ireland, and initially spent many years at sea in the Navy, where he begun painting. His passion for art is equalled only by his passion for exploring the highest mountains, deepest waters, remotest forests and lesser seen corners of the earth, which have become the inspiration for his ‘extreme art’, painted in unexpected and sometimes dangerous locations. This has earned him a unique reputation as an artist and adventurer, and won him a unique position in the international art world. He was awarded the best up and coming artist by the fine art trade guild and lists President Bush and President Clinton as just two of the celebrity collectors of his paintings.
