Very large and extremely rare, limited edition 'Artist's Proof*' print, beautifully presented in a bold ebonised gallery frame, depicting a portrait of thge iconic British fashion model from the 'Swinging Sixties' Twiggy, whose real name is Lesley Hornby (b.1949) This fabulous work is entitled 'Cover Girl' and is by the British contemporary artist Nuala Mulligan.
Nuala Mulligan studied Fine Art Mixed Media at the University of Westminster, and her work draws upon iconic imagery to create bold, statement, eye-catching artwork, often of iconic faces, objects and ideas.*An artist's proof is an impression of a print taken in the printmaking process to show the current printing state of a plate while the plate is being worked. The proof is checked and approved by the artist and, although in theory it is identical to the finished work, it is not included in the final limited edition print count.
