Superb, very rare 'DeMontfort Fine Art', Hand Embellished limited edition Artist's Proof* canvas on board print, depicting a woman dancing intensely in a long flowing dress. This fabulous piece is entitled 'Dance of Destiny' and is one of the latest works by the British artist Mark Spain (b.1962 ).
Mark Spain trained in technical graphics at Medway College of Art where upon graduating he set up a print studio in Kent producing original etchings and collographs. He exhibited his works extensively across the UK and found his figurative oil paintings were particularly well received, and he was soon signed to one of the UK?s leading publishing houses, the Washington Green Partnership. His work now hang in galleries and private collections across the world and he says his goals are always to create a certain amount of movement within the image, with particular emphasis on setting a mood and atmosphere.*An artist's proof is an impression of a print taken in the printmaking process to show the current printing state of a plate while the plate is being worked. The proof is checked and approved by the artist and, although in theory it is identical to the finished work, it is not included in the final limited edition print count.
