Extremely rare, beautifully framed 'Artist's Proof' limited edition 'De Montfort Fine Art' giclee print, depicting an atmospheric night time cityscape of a busy London street, the work is entitled 'City Glow 2', and is by English artist Keith Fulford (b.1962 ). 

 

Artist's proofs are a very rare run of prints taken randomly for the artist's approval during the process of creating a set of limited edition prints. In this case there were 195 limited edition prints of this painting created, but only 20 artist's proofs, which make them far more scarce and therefore of a higher value.

 

Keith Fulford was born in London, and initially worked in furniture and product design before taking the decision to pursue his love of art by enrolling in a higher education course in art. This led to him studying for an MA in Art and Design, where he supplemented his income by taking on freelance projects in the design-related industry. He has a passion for the vibrancy of city life and a love of cinematic imagery which is reflected in his work, where he captures the atmosphere and elements of the city with his use of oils. His paintings are much sought after and appear in many private collections as well featuring in a variety of prestigious events and galleries across the UK. His popularity has also seen some of his work reproduced in very restricted runs in the form of limited edition prints.
