Superb original acrylic on board painting depicting a portrait of a seated Siberian Husky dog, this original, fine-detailed, photorealistic painting was created in 2001, and is by the internationally acclaimed British equestrian and wildlife artist Judi Kent Pyrah (20th Century).

Judi Kent Pyrah was born in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, and is a self-taught artist who began working professionally, painting portraits of dogs and horses, at 17 years old.  Her training comes from her lifelong experience with animals, working in equestrian environments, exercising hunters, polo ponies and cutting horses, and as a qualified British Horse Society Assistant Instructor (BHSAI). Alongside her partner, wildlife artist Alan M. Hunt, she ran a successful Arabian horse breeding and show stud in North Yorkshire. Her fine-detailed paintings feature in private collections, have been exhibited widely across North America and the UK, and have been reproduced as limited edition prints.
