Original fine-detailed pastel painting of an English garden bird, depicting a Greenfinch, perched on the branch of a tree. This beautifully executed original work is by the British wildlife artist John Naylor (b.1960 ).
John Naylor was born in Hull and has been a professional artist since 1980, working in pastels and oils, creating very realisitc works depicting British birds, mammals, and birds of prey. He is a keen naturalist and falconer, which is evident in the fine-detail of his works, which he has exhibited widely, including at the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art, and which feature in many UK galleries and private collections.

- Framed, glazed and ready to hang, in a moulded gilt frame

- The painting is in excellent condition
- The frame has some minor rubbing, and a couple of small chips, please see images above, otherwise it is sound and in verty good condition
- The mount has some feint marks to the left side, possibly caused by minute particles from the pastels
