Original pastel horse racing interest painting, depicting a group of people with an unsaddled race horse in what appears to be the winner's enclosure.  This original work is by York-born artist John Hatfield (b.1933 ), who initially served in the military, before becoming a successful professional artist in his mid-thirties.
