Original watercolour painting, depicting a Yorkshire landscape, with a farmer and his sheep on a remote farm. This work is entitled 'Fell Farm' and is by the British artist John Belderson (b.1933 ). John Walter Belderson was born in Uganda, he begun drawing from a very young age and studied in South Africa at the Hilton College, Natal, the University of Natal, and the London University.  He was a church minister from 1965 until 1998, while also painting and teaching in watercolours. He became a member of the Yorkshire Watercolour Society in 1981 and has exhibited both in the UK and abroad.  He traveled and painted extensively in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and North America, before settling in Northern England during the mid-1960s, where he set up his studio in Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire.1915-2001).
