Original watercolour painting, depicting a French cafe scene, by the English artist Jo-Anne Surridge.
Jo-Anne Surridge studied at Leicester University, and then worked for 16 years for Hampshire County Museums Service, during which time she completed a teaching diploma in Art and Restoration and gained a certificate in Bookbinding and Papermaking. In 2010 she moved to France where she regularly exhibited her watercolour paintings throughout the region and won several prizes for her pen and ink sketches. In 2014 she moved to the Bordeaux wine region of Le Gironde and created her Chambre d'hôtes, 'Le Peyrail', from where she offers painting courses.
