- Original mixed media, oil and watercolour, painting, depicting a view of a winding country lane, this fine-detailed original work is entitled 'Winding Lane', and is by the English artist Hilary Scoffield (b.1958 ).Hilary Scoffield was born in Essex, and apart from one years formal study in fine art, she is essentially self-taught, with some help and guidance from her mother, who was a successful artist in her own right. She developed her own style, and has become nationally known for her landscapes in both watercolour and oil, which are inspired by the beautiful Essex countryside.
