Very large original watercolour painting, depicting a fox hunting scene, with huntsmen on horseback, and fox hounds, in an expansive countryside landscape. This spectacular and impactful original work is by the renowned British equine artist Graham Isom (b.1945 ).
Graham Isom was born in Farnborough, Kent, and studied at Ravensbourne College of Art. His father owned a riding school, and growing up around horses heavily influenced his art work, and has seen him become one of the leaders in equine art. On leaving college, he initially taught art in Dorset, England, until his private commissions allowed him to devote his time fully to painting. In 1973 he went freelance and by the time he moved to Somerset, in 1988, his work was receiving a lot of attention.
