Very large, rare, limited edition giclee print on board, depicting a stylised figure of a dog. This very quirky work is entitled 'New York Dog', and is by the very quirky, very original late British artist Govinder Nazran (1964–2008).

Govinder Nazran was born in Birmingham, moved to Bradford as a two year old, and studied graphic design at Bradford University and Lincoln Art College. He settled in Saltaire, West Yorkshire where he worked as designer for a greetings card company, and then a photographic art director, directing fashion shoots all over the world. He then became a freelance card designer for major publishing companies until 1999 when he decided to enter the fine art market, and he never looked back. He is best known for paintings and sculptures featuring highly-stylised symbolic images, usually cats, dogs, elephants and horses, and during a tragically short career he achieved a remarkable degree of recognition and success. He died aged 44 following an accident on Christmas Eve in his home.
