Rare limited edition giclee print on canvas, float mounted in a gallery frame, depicting colourful, stylised wildflowers, this decorative work is entitled 'Grace & Beauty 1', and is by the popular contemporary artist Emilija Pasagic.
Emilija was born in Belgrade, in the former Yugoslavia, and as a child, had her interest in painting and drawing nurtured by a family friend, an artist who invited her to his studio. She studied landscape architecture at university, where she met her husband, and upon graduating they worked together in design. In 1993 they relocated to Toronto, Canada to escape the instability of the balkan wars, and the move inspired her creativity.
