- Original mixed media painting depicting a semi-naked woman beside a vase of flowers, by the renowned English artist Edward Piper (1938–1990), this is an extremely rare opportunity to own an original painting by Edward Piper, and a classic example of his bright and uplifting work.Edward Blake Christmas Piper was the eldest son of the artist John Piper, he studied at Lancing College, the Bath Academy of Art in Corsham and the Slade School of Art in London. He produced photographs for the Shell County Guides and undertook graphic design commissions, however, his real passion was figurative art and in particular painting female nudes.
