Large original acrylic on canvas painting, presented as a box canvas, and created in the Pop Art style of Roy Lichtenstein. This original work depicts an image of a soldier kissing a woman, is by the British urban artist Dirty Hans (Contemporary), and is a very rare opportunity to own an original piece by this artist.

Dirty Hans was born in Liverpool, and is a self-taught artist and illustrator, who began painting to help calm his childhood hyperactive tendencies. Painting in acrylics and spray paints, he finds inspiration in the Pop Art movement, 1950s iconography, classic cult movies and comic books, and sights his influences as ranging from Toulouse-Lautrec to Roy Lichtenstein. He initially travelled extensively throughout Europe and lived in Antwerp for a few years, during which time his painting style developed. He has held exhibitions of his work around the World, from London to Paris, and Toronto to Miami and, while his paintings have been reproduced as limited edition prints, his originals are much sought after by collectors.
