Original oil painting on canvas on board created in an abstract style, this original work is entitled 'Master of Ceremony', and is by the English artist Colin Halliday (b.1964 ).

Colin Halliday was born in Carlisle, Cumbria, and raised on a farm in Brackenber Moor near Appleby in the Eden Valley.  Art was his strongest subject at school, but it wasn’t until he was twenty-one that he realised he could make it a career. He enrolled in a fine art foundation course in Carlisle, and then studied at Exeter University, where he graduated with honours in 1992, afterwhich he returned to Cumbria to grow more as a painter, and then moved to London to pursue his dreams, and has since exhibited widely in both solo and group shows.
