- Original watercolour painting, depicting a view of the landscape at the village of Sennelager in North West Germany. This work is entitled 'Early morning, Sennelager, N.W. Germany' and is by the artist, musician and song-writer Chris Wade (1954-2008).Christopher Graham Wade was born in Ilkley, studied graphic design at Bradford School of Art, and initially worked as a commercial illustrator, whilst, at the same time, creating his own watercolour paintings. In 1987, following successful exhibitions with the British Watercolour Society and Society of Yorkshire Artists, he decided to concentrate on his art full-time. In 1989 some of his works were recreated as limited edition prints and he was also commissioned to paint RAF engineers at work in Germany. In the mid 1990s he taught landscape painting courses for the Yorkshire Dales National Park, which led to various TV appearances. He was also a guitarist, singer and songwriter, who played with various bands.
