Rare, limited edition drypoint etching print, depicting  a stylised figure of a woman (self portrait of the artist) watering the garden with a hose, this quirky, humorous work is entitled 'Summer Evening', and is by the renowned, award-winning, Australian-born artist Anita Klein (b.1960 ).

Anita Klein was born in Sydney, Australia and moved to England aged 11. She studied at The Chelsea School of Art and The Slade School of Art, and was elected Associate of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers in 1992, a Fellow in 1995, and eventually President in 2003. She is considered one of Britain’s finest and best loved artists, with her works that mainly depict her and her family in everyday situations.  She regularly features in the national press, with works in many private and public collections including the British Museum and Arts Council of England, and she has also exhibited widely across Britain, Europe, America and Australia including at the The Royal Academy in London.
