Extremely rare, limited edition drypoint etching print, depicting a stylised figure of a naked woman having a shower, this quirky, humorous work is entitled 'Shower Under The Stars', and is by the renowned, award-winning, Australian-born artist Anita Klein (b.1960 ).
Anita Klein was born in Sydney, Australia and moved to England aged 11. She studied at The Chelsea School of Art and The Slade School of Art, and was elected Associate of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers in 1992, a Fellow in 1995, and evetually President in 2003. She is considered one of Britain’s finest and best loved artists, regularly featuring in the national press, and with works in many public collections including the British Museum and Arts Council of England, she has also exhibited widely across Britain, Europe, America and Australia including at the The Royal Academy in London.- Personally signed, dated (19)99 and numbered by the artist lower margin- Number 16 of only 25 limited edition drypoint etching prints ever produced
