  • Superb original oil on canvas painting, depicting a number of dairy cattle (Friesian Cows), grazing in an expansive countryside landscape. This fine-detailed, original work is by the British artist Allan Morgan (b.1952 ).

Allan Morgan studied at Swansea and Coventry Art Colleges, graduated with a BA in Fine Art, and embarked on a career as an illustrator in publishing. He worked for many of the major British publishers before gradually returning to landscape painting, and fulfilling his desire to work as a full-time professional artist.  His work is influenced by the Pre-Raphaelites and early impressionists, and he has recently extended his style to encompass a more "colourist" approach. The basis of his inspiration remains largely his love of light, colour and atmosphere in landscape. Having formerly spent many years living near the coast, he regularly returns to this subject matter.  He has exhibited extensively throughout the UK, and his work is highly collectable.
