Superb original oil on canvas painting, beautifully presented in a bold gallery frame, depicting a portrait of a Basset Hound dog, this fabulous painting is entitled 'Ho-Hum', and is by the contemporary British artist Al Knight.

Al Knight grew up in Glasgow, Scotland which is also where he graduated in Arts and Design. He initially pursued a career as a designer and illustrator, while selling his paintings in local galleries. Today he lives in the Highlands of Scotland, surrounded by beautiful countryside and the farm and domestic animals that are the subjects of his wonderfully detailed paintings.
